A great place for dinner

Everyone in our group loved their meal. The grouper was excellent. We did not have a reservation but got seated right away.

The Bridge Street Bistro on Bradenton Beach, just to the north of Longboat Key, off the coast of Sarasota and Bradenton offers spectacular views of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico.
The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined and the attire is resort casual. Dine al fresco on the third floor terrace and enjoy the amazing sunsets while relaxing with tropical breezes and sounds of the surf.
Enjoy expertly prepared cuisine at reasonable prices. Chef Keith Daum, who has overseen the best kitchens in Sarasota, Longboat key, and St. Armands, delivers his most outstanding
menu yet, including appetizer sampler platters, lobster bisque, seafood gumbo, and specialty salads. For entrees try one our hand cut Filet Mignon s or Rib Eye steaks with your choice of four preparations. Do you prefer seafood? We have that covered as well, with a choice of four fresh fish daily. Try the potato crusted grouper or the mediterranean style Mahi-Mahi; or perhaps you would enjoy our mouth watering seafood risotto. Veal, pasta, and chicken dishes are also on the menu. Don t forget to save room for dessert: our home made desserts are the perfect finish to a great meal. Come and see the new spot Anna Maria, Bradenton, Longboat Key, and Sarasota is talking about... Wow. I thought I was in the wrong place at first. There is a very happening upscale beach bar down stairs, so I asked and was told, yes I was in the right place. I went upto the third floor and was amazed. Very elegant, excellent staff; Wow is the best way to sum it all up. I took my servers suggestions..Carpaccio in trufle oil, beet and goat cheese salad and the main course of Grouper with a Key Lime Buerre Blanc sauce. An incredible taste, that they even paired a wine with that was amazing. Then I find out they are not locals, they are from St. Armands, that solved the mystery. If you want all St. Armands has to offer without the pretentiousness of being there, this is the place. A staff that is paying attention without being pushy. An amazing location, huge windows that look out over the gulf. And just tremendous cuisine at a steal of a price. I will be back as often as my travels allow.

We had a very nice time here. The food was very good as was the service. My husband loved the gumbo so much he had it at the bar for lunch the next day. The owner was always there and very involved.
